Vacuum Bags for the Glass Industry
CASIS silicone vacuum bags are specially used in the glass industry for reinforcing laminated glass reinforcement oven. Silicone vacuum bag is an important part of glass laminating furnace equipment, which consists of silicone sheet with different shapes on the top and bottom sides and silicone sealing strip. In this way, we can completely exclude the air inside the silicone vacuum bag to avoid quality problems such as air bubbles and watermarks.
Laminated glass is a kind of safety glass with excellent performance, which is made of a layer of EVA film sandwiched between two or more pieces of glass. Through appropriate mechanical processing, the glass is firmly bonded with a strong adhesive. Laminated glass is characterized by high transparency, light resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance and high mechanical strength. When the outer glass is broken by the impact force, its fragments will be firmly adhered to the film in the center, which is not easy to hurt people and will only form radial cracks and keep its original shape and visibility. Therefore, it can ensure the safety of human body and effectively play a protective role.
Laminated Glass Vacuum Furnace is a special equipment that uses vacuum principle to heat the glass under vacuum condition and use the atmospheric pressure inside the vacuum bag to pressurize the glass and exclude air bubbles. At the same time, two or more pieces of glass and EVA (or other films) are heated under vacuum conditions. As a supporting component for the production of glass-laminated furnaces, silicone vacuum bags affect the quality of glass products. Currently on the market there are three main types of reinforced furnace vacuum chamber: one is a vacuum bag: two pieces of silicone sheet and mountain pattern silicone strip; another is a silicone sheet supplemented with wood, chain or shape sealing strip to form a vacuum chamber; the third is equipped with tempered glass above the silicone sheet and silicone sheet at the bottom.

It is mainly used for the vacuum use of reinforced glass, sliding door glass and laminated safety glass. Utilizing the vacuum principle, our products remove air and ensure that no air bubbles are generated in the glass inside the silicone vacuum bag. By utilizing the vacuum pressure (thus eliminating the need for a pressurized kettle), the glass is compressed and the EVA film is melted under high temperature conditions, thus firmly bonding the interlayer material (e.g., silk, paper, fabric, painting paper, etc.) to the glass to form a whole, achieving the purpose of explosion-proofing, safety, decorative and practical use.
